Metropolitan Police commissioner Cressida Dick has said 'we need to invest' more in neighbourhood policing.

Speaking to 5 live Breakfast she said: 鈥淲e are good at it but we need to invest in it - communities fight terrorism and a lot of our effect will come through that.鈥�

When asked what she needed to do her job effectively, Mrs Dick responded:

鈥淲e need to look at whether and how much resources we need and - I鈥檓 sure we could be more efficient though technology - but yes, I would like more resources.鈥�
