Metropolitan Police commissioner Cressida Dick has said 'we need to invest' more in neighbourhood policing. Speaking to 5 live Breakfast she said: “We are good at it but we need to invest in it - communities fight terrorism and a lot of our effect will come through that.” When asked what she needed to do her job effectively, Mrs Dick responded: “We need to look at whether and how much resources we need and - I’m sure we could be more efficient though technology - but yes, I would like more resources.” This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on Monday 5 June 2017.
