Lord Mandelson U-turns on his view of Corbyn
Mr Corbyn has increased Labour's share of the vote more than any other leader in any other election since Attlee in 1945.
Lord Mandelson, who has previously been a critic of the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, says he was "very impressed with Jeremy's sure footedness" in the election campaign.
The Labour peer, who worked with Tony Blair on the Labour victories in 1997 and 2001, says that those who were previously critical of Jeremy should acknowledge "the character explosion he underwent during the campaign", which led to the party's increased support.
He also advised Jeremy to "show some respect to, and draw on, the breadth of talent he has in the commons".
