Former Conservative cabinet minister Nicky Morgan says making the campaign "all about one person may have been the issue here" and is something that the Conservative party will want to discuss.

Speaking on the World at One, Mrs Morgan described the election campaign as "bruising."

But she said things should be allowed to settle because with the Brexit talks looming "we only have 11 days to get ready."
