Burnham: 'Need for a Brexit debate at Conference'
The Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, has criticised the Labour party for not scheduling a debate on Brexit during its conference in Brighton.
The former Labour party health secretary told Radio 4's World at One that by not having a debate, the party could be seen as "dismissing concerns people expressed at the referendum" given that "there were millions of Labour leave voters all over the country, and we've got be a be a voice for them".
