Pussy Riot: 'We wanted to tell our story'

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, an exhibition has opened at London's Saatchi Gallery aiming to show what it is like to be inside a Russian jail.

In 2012 two members of the Russian feminist band Pussy Riot spent 20 months in a Russian jail for performing inside an Orthodox Cathedral.

The theatre group Les Enfants Terribles and one of the members of the band, Nadya Tolokonnikova, has created an immersive theatre experience allowing the audience to live the realities of imprisonment.

Nadya Tolokonnikova told the World at One the idea for the piece came after she was released from jail and that the aim was to "motivate [people] to be politically active".
