MDC: Zimbabwe needs a 'fair and credible election'
Zimbabwe's main opposition MDC party has said the removal of Robert Mugabe is only half the battle and there now needs to be a "fair and credible election".
Luke Tamborinyoka is the spokesperson for the MDC's leader, Morgan Tsvangirai. He told the World at One "we are cautiously optimistic" about the new President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
But Mr Tamborinyoka added that Mr Mnangagwa will need to create a new reputation for himself in order to recover the "confidence of the world and the confidence of Zimbabweans".
