The Scottish government business minister has said the closure of 259 RBS branches is "a matter of great concern".

Paul Wheelhouse told the World at One that the closure, which involves the loss of 62 branches in Scotland, would "impact on customers", particularly those "who aren't able to go online or use digital services".

He added that he would be speaking to senior management at RBS "to discuss what possible mitigation can be taken".
