O Brave New World? The Tempest for toddlers
CBeebies has been engaging young children with special adaptations of Shakespeare's work.
In 2016 a version of A Midsummer Night's Dream wowed their audience and now the network is doing The Tempest for under 6's in collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The controller of CBeebies, Kay Benbow, told the World at One the aim was to make Shakespeare "accessible and engaging for our very youngest viewers".
"Children love great stories and you don't get a better storyteller than Shakespeare," she said.
