Ice Hockey’s Transgender Star

Harrison Browne is a professional ice-hockey player with the Metropolitan Riveters in the National Women's Hockey League in the United States. He's won championships, but Harrison is also known for being the first transgender athlete on a professional US sports team. Harrison announced his retirement from professional hockey in March of 2017. He planned to undergo sex reassignment therapy, but later came out of retirement. He’s put his transition on hold, to continue playing the game he loves so much.
