One hundred years of votes for women
It is one hundred years since the Representation of the People Act, which gave women over 30, with property, the right to vote in Parliamentary elections.
Peers held a debate in the Lords to mark that anniversary.
Several speakers shared memories of the women they had met who had fought for female suffrage... but many argued there was a long way to go in the battle for equality.
