Florida school shooting: playing for the 17
Valentine’s Day 2018... a day of celebration for many people around the world. But it’s a day that pupils at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida will never forget. 17 people - 14 students and three staff - were killed when a former student opened fire on the school grounds.
Just 11 days after the shooting, the school’s ice hockey team won the State Championships, dedicating their victory to their fallen classmates.
Captain Matthew Hautman relives the horror of that day as he and the team now prepare for the National Championships in Minnesota.
