Hattersley: Labour Party could disintegrate
Labour’s former deputy leader Lord Hattersley has warned that the party is “in danger of disintegration” but said there was "virtually nothing" in the 2017 election manifesto with which he disagreed. He told The Westminster Hour's Carolyn Quinn it was “possible” for Labour to win the next general election and he hoped it would do so, but claimed that many voters “do not trust Corbynism and Corbyn in particular”. In a wide-ranging interview, Lord Hattersley also discussed de-selection of MPs, Labour's Brexit policy and the possibility of a new political party being formed.
