Oslo Peace Talks
After months of secret negotiations, a peace agreement was signed between old enemies, Israel and the Palestinians. Norway was instrumental in the negotiations leading up to the historic handshake between the leaders of Israel and Palestine on the lawn of the White House in 1993. We hear from Mona Juul, Norway's Ambassador to the UK, who was part of the team that planned and orchestrated top-secret meetings that culminated in the signing of the Oslo Accords.
