"I wanted to give back to young people"
After the murder of her husband Garry in 2007, Helen Newlove came to prominence as a community reform campaigner. She has set up a number of foundations, worked closely with government and provided support to young people. In 2012, she was appointed the Victims' Commissioner and now sits in the House of Lords as a Conservative. Baroness Newlove tells Jane Garvey what inspired her to get involved in public life.
