In session

In session
House Of Wolvxs began as a four-piece band in both Worcester and Manchester.

They were originally called We Signal Fire and performed a number of gigs across the Midlands with their former singer.

But with some strong female vocals now up front, the band are back with a brand new name and a brand new sound - and this was their debut gig!

“Hard hitting rock with a solid stage presence, great songs and a must-see live show" - Andrew Marston.

The Iron Road returns

The Iron Road returns
It was one our main music venues in Worcestershire - until one day, the Iron Road in Evesham unexpectedly closed.

But the team behind the gigs are back - and have moved 10 miles down the road!

Muttley Watson, this week, launched the Iron Road rock nights at Bar 57 in Pershore, so we went to have a look...

ѿý Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

ѿý Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
This annual festival was first staged in 2008 by Chris Bennion, who produces Worcestershire Sauce, who set up a website called NotJustSauce - aiming to put Worcester on the map musically.

Taking place in multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from from some of the best, new and emerging artists in the UK.

Each year the festival raises money for a chosen local charity. This year the Worcestershire Association of Carers will receive all the money dropped into buckets at the festival's venues across the weekend.

Features

Remix album

Remix album
What do you get if you cross Ellisha Green with Lost Tiger, Dharma Bums with Rouen and Arcadia Roots with DJ Kideva.

A charity remix album of course!

The project is being put together at Serious Studios in Stourport and will be officially launched at a gig later this month where local bands will cover other local bands!

Artist of the Week

Artist of the Week
By blending traditional African rhythms and instruments with infectious soul melodies, Arcadia Roots are creating a sound and atmosphere that defies genre.

Influenced by artists such as Fleetwood Mac, the band caught the attention of Michael Eavis, of Glastonbury fame, who joined them on stage and announced: “What a great band they are”.

As well as their live session at the Hay Festival, the band appeared on ѿý Midlands Today in August after being promoted to the main stage at Lakefest.
