Funding cycling through cannabis?
Former cyclist Floyd Landis was the man who brought down one of the biggest cheats in sports history: Lance Armstrong. The two were team mates with Landis himself winning the 2006 Tour De France; a title he was stripped of after turning whistle blower, resulting in Armstrong also being stripped of all seven of his Tour titles.
Landis subsequently won $5 million in damages from Armstrong, but it's what he used that money for that might surprise you. The American started his own company selling cannabis based products. And what makes this an even more extraordinary story is that Landis' successful hemp company is now sponsoring his new cycling team.
