Cricket or medicine? - The Proteas' prodigy with a career-defining dilemma

19-year-old Laura Wolvaardt is the youngest South African to score an international century in one-day internationals and the youngest woman to score 1000 runs in ODIs.

But earning a living as a female cricketer is hard. Laura deferred her enrolment to study medicine at university, and soon she will have to decide whether she wants to become a full-time doctor or continue playing cricket.
