Italian knighthood for teenager who stopped a massacre in 1945
A 91 year old woman who lives in East Sussex has just been honoured by the Italian government for what she did when she was 17. She lied to the Nazis to stop them shooting all the men in her village.
She is Gabriella Ezra and she told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4's World at One what she remembered about that day right at the end of the war, on the morning of April 28, 1945.
