Minister apologises for delay in blocking under 18s from viewing porn
The government has shelved its controversial age blocks on pornography designed to protect children from harm associated with viewing material online.
Serious questions are also being raised about whether a single company Mindgeek which owns the biggest porn site in the world should also be the company left to create and monitor its own Age Verification software.
In the first of a series for Radio 4's World at One Sangita Myska reports on what we know about the effects of porn on children and how they can be protected.
