Is the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ biased?
Peers wanted to know why the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ had decided to stop providing free TV licences for people over 75, with the exception of those on pension credit. MPs debated whether to keep funding them. They also considered a petition calling for a public inquiry into perceived bias at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, and a demand that the licence fee should be abolished altogether. Thomas Mason reports.
