"Send to Sleep was composed and recorded from my cello connected to a loop pedal whilst also singing throughout. The cello loop is inspired from romantic quartet or string writing from composers such as Schubert. This contrasts with the simple more pop like melody and lyrics about societal pressures and voices in my head."
