Eleanor told 蜜芽传媒 Young Composer: "The violin has been an important part of my life ever since I was 3 and I was keen to write a piece that featured all the different facets of the violin鈥檚 sound. I have always loved the broad, bold sound of four note chords and the beautiful transparency of false harmonics, so I decided to incorporate both into the piece to showcase the wide variety of sounds that can be produced by the violin."
