Covid-19 in Bangladesh: People leave Dhaka as Delta variant forces lockdown
Bangladesh is battling a new wave of coronavirus. The number of Covid cases have surged since May, and new cases have been linked to the Delta variant that was first identified in neighbouring India. The government has ordered a strict national lockdown and as a result people have been trying to leave the capital Dhaka and return to their homes in towns and villages.
