Italy's debt ridden national airline, Alitalia, will be grounded permanently this week and replaced by a new carrier, ITA, which has the state as one of its shareholders.

Patrick Edmond, the managing director of Altair Advisory, an aviation strategy consultancy firm, tells the 蜜芽传媒's Russell Padmore about Alitalia's troubled financial history.
