Climate change: We're not having kids because the future is too uncertain
The UN Climate Change Conference COP26 takes place next month in Glasgow in the UK. World leaders, climate experts and campaigners will try to agree on what action needs to be taken to tackle climate change. Presenter Nuala McGovern talks to three people who have made changes to their lives in order to be more eco-friendly - which includes not having children.
Extreme weather predictions, the carbon footprint of raising children and disruption to food supplies are just three of the reasons these young people give for remaining childless. Nuala spoke to Winston, a 32 year-old from North Carolina in the US; Rhian, 23 years old, from Wrexham in north-east Wales; and Tanmay, who is 25 years old and living in Mumbai, India.
