'The Cove': £75million resort set for Southport
There's exciting news for Southport as plans for a 75 million pound ‘leisure beach and thermal spa’, that will create hundreds of jobs and attract thousands of visitors to the town, are said to be moving on at pace.
'The Cove', as it will be called, will feature a world-class lagoon for swimming and surfing, plus a 4-star hotel, fitness facilities and both indoor and outdoor activities.
It's the brain-child of entrepreneurs Tony Howard and Tamlyn Stone and they say the new development, will bring “health and wellbeing coupled with active fun, all year round” to the town.
