Since the start of the conflict, large numbers of Russians have fled their home towns and crossed the borders into different countries. Life for those who oppose President Putin's regime and his policy in Ukraine has become increasingly difficult. The government passed a law threatening people who spread "fake" information about the war with 15 years in prison.

Many Russians have chosen to settle in different places around the world, including Finland, Latvia ad Turkey. Others have chosen to settle in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and we spoke to three of them: Alexei, Tatyana and Artyom.

Alexei and Artyom speak about their involvement in politics and how journalists have limited freedom on what they are allowed to report. Their disagreement with the regime means that they may not return until Putin is no longer in power. Tatyana speaks about Russians losing their jobs due to the conflict.
