British filmmaker Mike Leigh is known for bringing realism to the big screen through his unique improvisational approach to creating his screenplays. It’s a craft which he credits to his years at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, directing for the Plays for Today series in the 1970s. As part of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 100 centenary celebrations, the seven time Oscar nominee speaks to Tom Brook about what the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ means to him.
