Britain's earliest Barn Conversion
Archaeologists have returned to the Rutland Roman villa site - unearthing further secrets.
First discovered on farmland in 2020, investigative work by a team from University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS), working in partnership with Historic England has uncovered new evidence pointing to the complex housing one of Britain’s earliest barn conversions.
