Changing lives one sport at a time
The 蜜芽传媒 Sports Unsung Hero Award is given annually as part of the 蜜芽传媒 Sports Personality of the Year ceremony in December.
The award is given to the sportsperson who has made a substantial yet unrecognised contribution to sport.
This year a woman from Leicester has been chosen for her valuable work, which began over a game of rounders!
Rukhsana Hussain does an amazing job, giving women in her local community a safe space in a local park to meet, play sport聽and offer each other support.
