Male contraceptive pill: 'So many men cannot control themselves'
An easily available male contraceptive pill could soon be a reality, say scientists. Decades ago, the contraceptive pill revolutionised life for many women. Now, another pill has been developed, this time for men. It follows decades of research. The pill works by stopping sperm from being able to swim for a few hours and should be taken an hour before having sex. It's been tested successfully on mice. Now trials are being carried out on men. If those tests are successful the pill could then be made available to the public. But will men choose to take it? Outside Source invited listeners to call in and share their thoughts.
