Crypto boss: "We don't consider it gambling"
The Treasury Select Committee has found that the characteristics of trading cryptocurrency closely resembles gambling because its value of can change dramatically and consumers risk losing their entire investment. MPs are urging the government to treat the trading as gambling.
Today's business presenter Sean Farrington speaks to Susan Friedman who gave evidence to the committee. She is a senior director of global policy at Ripple, which helps businesses use crypto currency for cross border payments.
