Actors' Strike Disrupts Venice and Toronto Film Festivals
The Venice International Film Festival - one the world’s oldest and most prestigious festivals - is underway but many Hollywood stars are staying away because of the ongoing actors' strike.
Union rules prevent them from participating in promotional activities.
The strike is also disrupting other film festivals, including North America’s largest in Toronto, which opens next week.
