US actor Matthew Perry, best known for playing wisecracking Chandler Bing in the hit '90s TV sitcom Friends, has died at the age of 54.

He was reportedly found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home on Saturday. His cause of death remains unknown.

Away from the screen, Perry battled with an addiction to alcohol and painkillers.

Jamie lives in North Carolina in the US and is a Friends fan but has also been clean for 30 years after a drug addiction. She's been sharing her reaction to Matthew's death.
