Reading fire: watching a crane rescue from the ground
On Thursday 23rd November, a major fire broke out in the centre of Reading.
Black smoke billowed from a building on Station Hill - and there was a dramatic crane rescue of a workman, footage of which went viral.
This was all described by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire reporter Alex Meakin, who was on the street surrounded by workers whose buildings were evacuated on the morning of the fire.
