Swan Wars: Territorial fights on Lincoln's Brayford
Swans are looking to establish their territories ahead of the breeding season - and while they're known to mate for life, they're equally happy to ruffle a few feathers among their rivals.
Researchers at the University of Lincoln say they've identified three distinct families on the city's Brayford pool and are having to intervene to keep the breeding pairs from fighting.
