    Lincolnshire Lancaster sculpture 'on schedule'
Plans to construct a huge sculpture of a Lancaster bomber next to one of Lincolnshire's busiest roads are on schedule, according to the group behind it.
The proposed landmark, a full-size representation of the iconic wartime aircraft, has been described as Lincolnshire's 'Angel of the North'.
The Bomber County Gateway Trust says that work on the sculpture is progressing well and it's hoped that it will be in place alongside the A46 on the Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire border in September 2024.
