Long Covid:'It's a fatigue that never ends'
A former Lincolnshire head teacher has welcomed news that long Covid can be detected in the blood, which could lead to a specific test for the condition and potential treatments in the future.
Steve Bladon, who was head of Horncastle Community Primary School, contracted Covid-19 in 2021 and had to leave because of long Covid which leaves him constantly fatigued.
He says the research into the underlying cause is good news for sufferers, for whom there is no general treatment and whose condition is often mistakenly believed by others to be psychological.
