Uneasy Lincolnshire: The ghosts of RAF Wickenby
RAF Wickenby was one of dozens of Lincolnshire air stations which were home to squadrons of Lancaster bombers during World War II - and like many similar sites, spooky events have been reported ever since.
It's claimed a ghostly hitch-hiking airman has been seen on a nearby road, while the ghost of a Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) radio operator haunts the control tower.
