Call for stronger cancer warnings on sunbeds
Campaigners are calling for mandatory warning signs, similar to those used on cigarette packets, on sunbeds in all tanning places.
Patients' support group Skin Cancer UK is concerned social media is fuelling interest in sunbeds among young people and says graphic images of skin cancer would be a deterrent.
But one Lincolnshire beauty salon owner doubts that stronger warnings would put people off, while the Sunbed Association says professional sunbeds are well regulated and guidance is provided on their use.
