    Tributes paid to Spitfire crash pilot Mark Long
Tributes have been paid to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight pilot who was killed when his Spitfire crashed near RAF Coningsby.
Sqn Ldr Mark Long, who also flew front-line Typhoon fighters from RAF Coningsby, was due to become Officer Commanding of the BBMF in October 2024.
The RAF has temporarily grounded the BBMF while investigations into the incident take place.
