Woman gets fly-tipping fine after rubbish stolen
A woman from Boston says she and her partner have been fined £1,200 for fly-tipping after a bin bag was taken from outside their home and its contents dumped a short distance away.
Abigail Swinn, who has reported the theft of the rubbish to police, says they felt "helpless" after each receiving £600 fixed penalty notices.
Boston Borough Council, which issued the fines, said it took environmental crime "very seriously" and would review the case if contacted.
