The fan owned club "rising through the ashes"
The demise, and subsequent rise, of Bury Football Club is fast becoming a sporting story for the ages.

But from the ashes rose a phoenix club, Bury AFC, which reverted to Bury FC following a merger, and football at Gigg Lane resumed.
Now the supporter-owned, debt-free club is rising through the non-leagues, and basking in the glory of a title winning season.
Ian Haslam has the story.
