Getting to Liverpool John Lennon Airport has long been a transport headache 鈥� with no direct rail link and the nearest station still a bus or taxi ride away. But now, Chancellor Rachel Reeves has announced 拢100 million for three new 鈥渞apid transit鈥� bus routes that will connect the airport to the city centre and stadiums. It鈥檚 part of a wider 拢1.6 billion investment in Merseyside transport. Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram says these new 鈥榞lider鈥� buses could finally change the game for airport access.
