‘Howzat?’ Danbury 'suspends' cricket
Cricket matches have been suspended on an Essex village green, after a member of the public was hit by a cricket ball. The sport has been played on Dawson Fields in Danbury since at least 1799.
Danbury Parish Council have paused all cricket until risk assessments are carried out.
