On the 5th July 2005 London experienced one of the worst days in its history.

The day before the London bombings the city was in a celebratory mood, after finding out it had been chosen to host the Olympic Games in 2012. Londoners were riding high on a wave of optimism.

Less than 24 hours later, the mood was utterly shattered, as the capital experienced what was to become one worst days in its history.

Ross Ryan, a journalist with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio London, tells the story of how events unfolded on the 7th July 2005, in the 24 hours that changed London forever.
