Female musicians throughout history have been accused of being ‘too sexual’, and Sabrina Carpenter is no stranger to this, especially with her new album, Man’s Best Friend.
It’s caused quite a stir, with artwork described by some as ‘provocative’ and nine out of the 12 tracks on the album marked as explicit.
Journalist Jude Rogers joined Nuala McGovern in the Woman’s Hour studio to discuss why she thinks the album has been controversial.
