Bridgnorth on the telly!
Shropshire provides the perfect backdrop for Channel 5's new whodunnit, Murder before Evensong. Based on Reverend Richard Coles’ Sunday Times best-selling debut novel, the six-part murder mystery is set in the 1980s and was shot in Bridgnorth, Dudmaston Hall, and Worfield. It follows a country rector whose quiet parish life is shattered when a body is discovered in his church. One of the locations used in the filming was The Travel Wallet in Bridgnorth. Maggie Rogers from the travel agents told Clare Ashford it was an incredible experience.
