Brain fog: ‘I felt like this was a massive failure. I was embarrassed’
When the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Technology Editor Zoe Kleinman shared a post about dealing with brain fog, she had no idea it would resonate with so many women going through the menopause.
She shared her experience in a LinkedIn post – that following a long day of reporting and feeling tired, along with the fear of not being able to remember key words, she chose to use notes on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ News At Ten for the first time ever.
Zoe joined Nuala McGovern on Woman's Hour to share her experience, and why she wanted to normalise speaking about brain fog.
They were also joined by Dr Shema Tariq, doctor and researcher at University College London, who shared her advice for women who can relate.
Listen to the full discussion on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sounds – it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 17 November.
